Less than most people expect. The short answer: the base charter rate on Aquanimity is the same throughout most of the year. The only time pricing changes meaningfully is during the holidays.

How pricing actually works

Aquanimity’s charter rate is a weekly flat rate that applies from November through July. Whether you charter in February at the height of peak season or in May during the quiet shoulder months, the base price is the same.

The holiday exception

Christmas week and New Year’s week are the only periods with meaningfully elevated pricing. These are the busiest two weeks on the charter calendar and they are priced accordingly. If your dates fall outside of those two holiday windows, you are paying the standard rate regardless of the month.

What actually changes by season

What changes between peak and shoulder season is not price — it is the experience:

• Peak season (December through April): more boats in the anchorages, livelier beach bars, more activity throughout the islands. Great if you enjoy that energy.
• Shoulder season (May through July): quieter anchorages, emptier beaches, more privacy. The BVI at its most peaceful. Some restaurants operate on reduced hours.

The value case for shoulder season

If you are flexible on timing, May, June, and early July are genuinely excellent months to charter. The weather is still beautiful, the water is warm, and you will often have anchorages almost entirely to yourself. For guests who value privacy over peak season energy, shoulder season is the better choice — at the same price.
