BVI Private Charter · Groups of 7–24

Sail Together.
Stay Private.

A flotilla charter lets larger groups sail the British Virgin Islands on multiple private yachts — each with its own captain and crew — while sharing anchorages, beach bars, and memories.

What Is a Flotilla?

Multiple Yachts.
One Adventure.

A flotilla is a group of two or more privately crewed yachts sailing together through the same waters. Each yacht is fully independent — its own captain, its own crew, its own cabins — but the boats travel the same route and anchor in the same bays each night.

Think of it as the best of both worlds. Your group stays together for sundowners, beach dinners, and shared adventures. But everyone has their own private space onboard, their own crew taking care of them, and their own yacht to call home for the week.

Aquanimity accommodates up to 6 guests. For groups of 7 or more, we can coordinate additional crewed yachts to sail alongside — all departing from the same marina, sailing the same route, and anchoring together each evening.

The Process

How a BVI Flotilla Charter Works

Organizing a flotilla sounds complicated. It isn't. Here's how we make it happen.

01
Tell Us Your Group Size

Share your total guest count, preferred dates, and any special requirements. We'll figure out how many yachts you need and what configuration works best for your group.

02
We Source the Fleet

Aquanimity leads the flotilla. We work with trusted charter partners in the BVI to secure comparable crewed yachts for the rest of your group — same standard, same waters, same week.

03
Sail as One Fleet

Each yacht departs together, anchors together, and explores together. The captains coordinate daily — beach bar nights, group dinners ashore, and shared anchorages every evening.

Common Questions

BVI Flotilla Charter FAQ

A flotilla is two or more fully crewed yachts sailing the same waters together. Each yacht is completely private — its own captain, crew, cabins, and galley — but the boats travel the same route and anchor in the same bays. Your group stays together for evenings and shared experiences while enjoying privacy onboard each vessel.
Aquanimity sleeps up to 6 guests across 3 private cabins. For larger groups, we coordinate additional crewed yachts — typically similar Dufour 48 catamarans with the same all-inclusive standard. Two yachts accommodate up to 12 guests, three yachts up to 18, and so on. Contact us with your group size and we'll build the right fleet configuration.
Yes — the captains coordinate each morning to plan the day together. All boats sail the same general route and anchor in the same bays each night. This means your whole group ends up at the same beach bar, the same anchorage, and the same sundowner spot every evening. During the sailing day each boat has the freedom to take its own pace.
We only work with trusted charter partners whose vessels meet the same all-inclusive, fully crewed standard as Aquanimity. All flotilla yachts include private cabins, ensuite bathrooms, a professional captain and crew, and full meal service. We vet every partner yacht before including them in a flotilla proposal.
Each yacht is priced separately with its own charter agreement. Aquanimity's base rate starts at $22,000 for a 7-night all-inclusive charter for up to 6 guests. Additional yachts are priced based on the vessel, dates, and guest count. We'll send you a complete flotilla proposal with per-yacht and per-person breakdowns. See Aquanimity's pricing →
We handle all the coordination. From sourcing the additional yachts to aligning departure times, routes, and anchorages — we manage everything between the captains. You don't need to coordinate between multiple charter companies. One point of contact, one inquiry, one flotilla proposal.
Flotillas require more lead time than a single yacht booking because we need to secure multiple vessels for the same dates. We recommend enquiring at least 9–12 months in advance for peak season dates (December–April) and at least 6 months out for value season. The earlier you reach out, the more yacht options we'll have available. Contact us to check availability →
Absolutely. Many groups split by family unit, couple, or friend group — whoever makes the most sense to bunk together. Some groups prefer to mix it up and put friends on different boats to maximize the social experience. Tell us how you'd like to split and we'll configure the fleet accordingly.
