Ask the Captain

Can we eat at restaurants ashore during our charter?

Absolutely — and there are some exceptional places worth the trip ashore.

How it works

Meals, drinks, and shopping at shore-side establishments are paid directly by guests. These expenses are not part of your all-inclusive charter rate. Everything served aboard the yacht remains fully included regardless of how much or little you eat ashore.

Restaurants worth visiting

  • Anegada Reef Hotel — Fresh lobster dinners on the beach. One of the most celebrated meals in the BVI. Advance notice recommended.
  • Foxy’s Tamarind Bar, Jost Van Dyke — Legendary beach bar, part of the BVI experience.
  • Soggy Dollar Bar, Jost Van Dyke — Home of the original Painkiller. You swim ashore — there is no dock.
  • Cooper Island Beach Club — A lovely lunch or dinner stop with its own craft brewery.
  • Saba Rock Resort — Scenic setting in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda.

Your captain can arrange reservations

For popular restaurants — especially the Anegada lobster dinner — your captain can arrange reservations as part of itinerary planning. Just let them know which stops matter most to your group.
