What should I pack for a BVI catamaran charter?

Most first-time guests pack far more than they actually need.

The essentials

  • Several swimsuits
  • Cover-ups or sarongs
  • Sunglasses and a wide-brim hat
  • Reef-safe sunscreen
  • Flip-flops and sandals
  • Closed-toe shoes if you plan to hike
  • One or two nicer outfits for shore dinners
  • Phone chargers
  • Prescription medications
  • Motion sickness medication as a precaution

What the boat already provides

Beach towels, bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and all linens are provided. Do not bring your own.

Use soft-sided luggage

Hard-shell suitcases are difficult to store below deck. Soft duffel bags work far better. The yacht uses standard 115-volt U.S. outlets — no converter needed.
