You do not need any sailing experience

Aquanimity is a fully crewed charter. Your captain handles all navigation, anchoring, weather routing, and boat operations. You are never expected to know anything about sailing. You just show up and enjoy the ride.

The BVI is ideal for beginners

The British Virgin Islands are widely considered the finest sailing grounds in the Western Hemisphere — not just because they are beautiful, but because they are genuinely calm. Land is almost always visible. The passages between islands are short, typically one to three hours. The trade winds are consistent and the anchorages are protected.

This is not open-ocean sailing. You will never feel like you are at sea with nothing in sight. It is relaxed, manageable, and comfortable even for guests who have never been on a boat before.
