You set the direction

On your first evening aboard, your captain will sit down with your group and review a proposed itinerary based on your preferences, the weather forecast, and the available time. Nothing is fixed. If you want to spend an extra day at Anegada, skip a stop you are not excited about, or add somewhere you have heard about, just say so.

The captain’s role

Your captain’s job is to make your vision practical. If a route you want is not ideal for weather or logistics, they will suggest a way to achieve the same outcome more comfortably — perhaps visiting the same destinations in a different order, or routing around a forecast. The goal is always to get you where you want to go in the best way possible.
